In celebration of International Women's Day, we sat down with CABLE Director, Georgie Austin, to discuss her inspiration behind the new Autumn collection.
Tell us about your inspiration for the Autumn 2022 collection?
There is no doubt a subtle vintage nod to the 60s and 70s throughout this collection. I have loved working with a colour palette based around Autumnal tones and also making powerfully feminine silhouettes that strike the right balance between sharp and soft.
Are there any new shapes for Cable this season?
The Stockholm Pant is our new hero trouser and reinvents the everyday tailored pant. Paired back with a heel or your favourite white runner, it gives an elevated take on the sports inspired classics.
What are your favourite pieces for the season?
The trans-seasonal Wild Poppy print capsule and extrafine knitwear are my current go-to pieces as the weather changes and the mornings are fresh.
