Supporting the Communities Around Us
We believe strong communities are built through connection, support and shared purpose. Through partnerships with charitable organisations and community initiatives, we aim to contribute in meaningful ways.
We regularly donate items to smaller locally based not for profits organisations to meet the needs of refugees or recently arrived migrants.
Motherland Australia
Founded by 2024 Australian of the Year for Tasmania, Stephanie Trethewey, Motherland is dedicated to reducing the isolation many rural mothers face by connecting them to a supportive national community.
Through its online network, national conferences and events, mothers group program and weekly podcast, Motherland provides connection, practical support, inspiration and shared experiences for rural women with children of all ages.
Cable is proud to have partnered with Motherland for the past three years. As a female founded brand with a heritage in knitwear crafted from premium Australian merino wool, it feels very natural to support an organisation that uplifts and connects women across rural Australia.
