Thanks for shopping with us! We hope you love your new purchase, however if it’s not exactly what you’re looking for, you can return your item(s) within 14 days of purchase. Please note that due to hygiene reasons, we are unable to accept returns for earrings unless deemed faulty by our team.


Online Returns Policy

  • Online purchases must be returned via postage to our Online Returns warehouse and at this time, cannot be returned to any of our stores. You can return your item(s) within 14 days of receiving your online purchase.
  • All returned item(s) must be unworn, unused and in their original condition with tags attached. Please be careful of makeup rubbing off on the garments.
  • Permanently marked down sale or outlet items can only be returned for a digital gift card that can be redeemed instore or online. Unfortunately we are unable to offer refunds unless deemed faulty upon assessment. 
  • Full priced items or items purchased during a temporary promotional sale can be returned for a digital gift card that can be redeemed online or instore, or a refund with the refund processed back against the original payment method used.
  • Please be aware that we are unable to offer exchanges on online purchases at this time. 
  • Please note that customers are responsible for postage costs back to us. To avoid delays in delivery, we encourage you to use a registered postal service that offers parcel tracking. Cable Melbourne is not liable for the loss of returns in transit to us.


How To Return Online Purchases

  • Please complete the Returns Form that you received with your original purchase. 
  • Please enclose the Returns Form and item(s) in a securely packaged parcel. Make sure the sender’s address and Online Returns address are clearly visible on the outside of the parcel.
  • Instore purchases cannot be returned to this address, and must be taken back to store.

Digital Gift Card For Online Returns

  • Digital gift cards can be used in store or online and are valid for 3 years.
  • You will receive an email with a digital gift card number & four-digit pin which can be entered at the checkout when shopping online.
  • To redeem the digital gift card in store, simply present the digital voucher to a Cable team member to redeem it against your instore purchase.


Instore Returns Policy

  • Instore purchases can be returned to any of our Cable Melbourne boutique stores within 14 days of purchase with proof of purchase.
  • Instore purchases cannot be sent back to our warehouse for a refund or exchange. 
  • All returned item(s) must be unworn, unused and in their original condition with tags attached. Please be careful of makeup rubbing off on the garments.
  • We are unable to offer a refund for permanently marked down sale or outlet items, however you may exchange the item(s) or request a credit note which can be redeemed instore.
  • Full priced items or items purchased during a temporary promotional sale can be returned for a credit, exchange or refund with the refund processed back against the original payment method used.
  • Please note that credit notes cannot be redeemed on the Cable website. 
  • In the rare instance that your item is faulty, please return the item to a Cable Melbourne store for an assessment from a team member and the necessary arrangements will be made.

David Jones & Stockists

Purchases made at David Jones or any of Cable Melbourne's stockists must be returned to the original place of purchase in line with their returns policy. 

Afterpay Purchases

  • As per Afterpay's policy, online orders purchased using Afterpay can only be returned to the online warehouse for a full refund back to your Afterpay account. 

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you believe you’ve received faulty, damaged or incorrect items, please email info@cablemelbourne.com with the details and photos if these are available. Upon inspection of the photos, we’ll send you a reply paid returns label for the merchandise to be returned to us if there’s a genuine manufacturing fault or if a dispatch error has occurred. If you require more information about this process, please contact our Customer Service team.

Cable Collective Returns

  • Rewards points that are earned will be reversed if the purchase is returned. 
  • Rewards vouchers that are redeemed for a purchase will be forfeited if the purchase is returned. For example, if you have redeemed a $30 rewards voucher on a purchase and have then returned the item, the original $30 rewards voucher will not be credited against your account.
