A Celebration to Remember: Behind the Scenes of Our Heritage 365 Launch
Yesterday marked a defining moment in Cable’s journey — the official launch of Heritage 365, a 40-piece capsule collection crafted entirely from premium, Woolmark-certified Australian Merino wool.
Eighteen years in the making, this collection is both a tribute to our Founder and Creative Director Georgina Austin’s family legacy and a celebration of the values that have shaped our brand: craftsmanship, sustainability, and enduring style. Each piece is named after a member of Georgina's family or an Australian wool-growing region that has shaped Cable’s story.
Georgie wears the Brushed Pure Cashmere Jumper.
An Intimate Gathering at Kings Arcade
Set inside our beautiful Kings Arcade flagship boutique, the event took the form of an elegant sit down lunch that brought together a community of style icons, tastemakers, media, and beloved friends of the brand. The atmosphere was warm, genuine, and deeply personal — a perfect reflection of what Heritage 365 represents.
This intimate event was masterfully brought to life by Sally Crinis and the exceptional team at Stella & Co (@stella_co_) who styled every detail with thoughtfulness and artistry. Their vision turned our flagship space into a refined and welcoming celebration of Cable's origins and future.
Heartfelt Hosting and Honoured Guests
We were honoured to have the incredible Rebecca Maddern as our host, whose warmth and eloquence set the tone for a day filled with heartfelt connection and celebration.
Among the most touching moments were stories shared by Lisa and Sara, two remarkable women who have worn their Cable cardigans through some of life’s most challenging times — during their journeys with cancer treatment. Their words reminded us of the emotional comfort clothing can offer, and why designing with heart and heritage truly matters.

Capturing the Essence
The event was beautifully documented by our talented collaborators: @alisonhoelzerphoto, whose photography captured the emotion, textures, and quiet luxury of the day with elegance and intimacy, and our beloved Set from @ninesixteenfilms, who created a visual narrative that encapsulates the spirit of Heritage 365.
Flavours to Remember
Guests were treated to a delicious spread curated by @rubens_deli in Armadale. The menu celebrated seasonal produce and shared hospitality — perfectly mirroring the warmth and intention behind the collection itself.
Giving Back: Our Partnership with Motherland
We were so proud to have the inspirational Stephanie Trethewey from Motherland as a guest speaker. Motherland is Cable’s official charity partner and is an incredible organisation that provides vital support for rural Australian mothers facing isolation and hardship.

A Love Letter to Merino
Heritage 365 is more than a collection — it’s a love letter to Merino wool, to quiet luxury, and to the generations who’ve shaped our story. Each piece is designed for layering, longevity, and all-season wear — from superfine staples to signature long wraps and accessories.
Now available in all 22 Cable boutiques, select David Jones stores, and online, Heritage 365 invites you to experience Australian Merino in its most refined form — 365 days a year.
